Sebastian Barbu, currently holding the second position in the national rally championship of Romania and a strong contender for the title in our northern neighbor, will not participate in the 52nd edition of the Bulgaria rally. In an email to the organizing team, Barbu unfortunately announced that the reason for this decision is personal.
“We deeply regret this situation, but at the moment, we don’t have any other option,” explained Sebastian Barbu in his message.
Over the past two seasons in the national rally championship of Romania, Barbu finished in second place behind Simone Tempestini, solidifying his position as the most serious competitor to the world champion in the WRC3 class.
